Ambassador Training

109,000+ people in Hertfordshire provide regular support for a friend or family member. Carers in this county are providing support for anything from a couple of hours a week to full time round the clock care, with ages of carers ranging from children as young as 8. They provide care for family, friends or neighbours. Most unpaid carers are providing this largely invisible support behind closed doors – we want to make sure they get the help they need.

If you have some spare time and would like to help us reach out to these people please come along to our Volunteer Ambassador Training in Ware on Thursday 21st March 10-2 pm.  We will provide lunch and refreshments and can help with the cost of travel and alternative care if required.

Please book a space by emailing .  If you have any questions please email or ring 07714 077 686.

Registration Open Date/Time March 21, 10:00 until March 21, 14:00

Transport Guidance

Following consultation with carers, Carers in Hertfordshire have updated their policy on offering transport to their events. Carers told us we should not be spending more than £50 a journey for an individual, so we will be using this guidance in the future when considering transport options. We are happy to reimburse expenses incurred for using public transport to travel to an event.
