Training for our Care Support Workers continues throughout their employment and we encourage our staff to progress with their knowledge offering additional training in the areas in which they may have a specific interest. For example, Dementia care, end of life care or working with children and young people.
Our dedicated staff love their work and their experience and training means they understand the needs required by family members/those in a caring role and the person requiring care or support and take pleasure fitting into family life.
All staff are required to complete full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks before they can commence working. Two references are also taken up.
We currently employ over 70 Care Support Workers to look after the needs of the community. If you would like to find out more about this very rewarding role as a Care Support Worker or other job or volunteer vacancies please visit our jobs and volunteering page.
