We're delighted to be one of the charities shortlisted to be the Local Charity of the Year for eight Sainsbury's stores in Hertfordshire and all we need are your votes to help us secure the partnership.

The stores where staff have shortlisted us are:

  • Jackson Square, Bishop's Stortford;
  • Coreys Mill, Stevenage;
  • Cow Lane, Watford;
  • Hartham Lane, Hertford;
  • Brewery Road, Hoddesdon;
  • Darkes Lane, Potters Bar;
  • Third Avenue, Letchworth; and
  • Everard Close, St Albans.

To help us be named as the Local Charity of the Year we need your votes! It’s easy to support us, if you are shopping in store between 12th and 25th June 2017 please get a token (or two!) each time and vote for us in the voting boxes.

Alternatively, you can also vote online at between 12th and 25th June 2017! You can do this no matter where you live and also have a vote for all eight stores.

Linda Cudmore, our Community Fundraising Lead, said: “With around 4,500 people in caring roles registering with Carers in Hertfordshire last year, the support and services we offer provide continue to make a positive difference to unpaid carers in the county.

Becoming a Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year would be a boost for us, as it would help raise awareness and funds to support our work making carers count. We hope that with your support we can receive the most votes and be named the charity partner.”
