Thanks to some great work by our volunteers and staff, we have been shortlisted for Charity of the Year by six branches of Sainsbury’s in Hertfordshire. In addition to boosting fundraising income Charity of the Year partnerships can help raise the profile of carers and Carers in Hertfordshire. We now need your votes to help us secure the partnerships as the charity with the most votes will be selected as the store's charity.

You have until  24th June 2018 to vote and you should be able to vote in store (ask at Customer Services for details) or online at www.sainsburyslocalcharity.co.uk

It’s simple to vote online, you just need the postcode for the Sainsbury’s store or your area and then it finds the stores and you can click on them and follow the instructions to vote. You can vote for as many stores as you wish and can vote from different devices.

The Sainsbury’s stores that have chosen us as a potential charity partner are:

  • Bishop’s Stortford Thorley, 1 Thorley Neighbourhood Centre, Thorley, Bishop’s Stortford, CM23 4EG;
  • Hoddesdon, Brewery Road, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HF;
  • Letchworth, Third Avenue, Letchworth, SG6 2HX;
  • Marshalwick Local, 185 Marshalwick Lane, St Albans, AL1 4UZ;
  • Potters Bar, Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, EN6 1AU; and
  • Stevenage, Magpie Crescent, Stevenage, SG2 7DU.

Usually for instore voting you can get token(s) when you shop and can drop them into the voting box.

If you know of any businesses or organisations that have Charity of the Year partnerships and are looking for potential charities to support please let us know as we'd be interested in trying to get Carers in Hertfordshire on the list. Please contact us on 01992 58 69 69 or email to discuss.
