Carers in Scotland that receive Carer’s Allowance are to get a boost as the benefit is being increased in line with Jobseeker’s Allowance – equivalent to an extra £8.50 a week. Now, Carers UK is calling for the Government to raise Carer’s Allowance in the rest of the UK to match changes in Scotland.
