With one in six adults providing unpaid care to someone and one in five secondary school pupils helping care for a parent or sibling it’s important that carers are identified and supported and that is at the heart of what we do. This Carers Week (10th – 16th June) and beyond we are making sure carers - people who provide unpaid care to someone who is ill, disabled, elderly or who misuses substances - are connected to other carers, health and other services.

As it is Volunteers' Week (1st - 7th June 2019), we are celebrating and thanking everyone who volunteers with us for their contribution in making carers count. We are also looking for more people to help us and will be at a Volunteer Fair on Thursday (6th June).
