Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Use (previously Dual Diagnosis) Focus Group

  • Tuesday 28th January 2025, 7pm - 8.30pm

Last year, organisations from across Hertfordshire launched a new programme of work which aims to improve support for people affected by both mental health issues and substance use issues at the same time, known as ‘co-occurring mental health and substance use’  led by Hertfordshire Public Health.

We would like to understand your positive experiences as well as any challenges you have faced in supporting the person you care for to access and receive services for their co-occurring needs within the last 2 years. Whilst it is important to hear from you about the support you need in your role as a Carer, this focus group is about your experiences supporting the person you care for access Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol services in Hertfordshire.

The feedback will be recorded electronically and following the focus groups, Public Health will produce an anonymous report which will be made available to you.

Your feedback will have a valuable impact by informing future decisions and strategy locally. Public Health will also give you a £20.00 Love2Shop voucher as a token of appreciation.

There will be a face-to-face session in Hatfield on Thursday 30th January 2025.
