Carers in Hertfordshire have asked Sam Wood-Ede (Direct Payments Manager, and advocate of direct payments from personal experience) to come along and give an interactive talk to carers. Sam will be able to guide you through the step-by-step process, with examples of when direct payments work well and the challenges they might bring up.
