Disability Living Allowance/ Personal Independence Payments for Parent Carers with Children/Young People aged 15 – 18 years old.
Sally Hattle, a Welfare Benefits Adviser from the Money Advice Unit, is going to talk about Disability Living Allowance Claim and what to expect for the changeover to Personal Independence Payment.
Sally will explain the application process and give advice on filling out the PIP2 form and will also talk about what happens with the process of changing over DLA to PIP, as well as give you some hints and tips on what to do to prepare before the changeover.
Sally will be joining us for 3 talks/sessions: 1 in-person, 2 online (full details below).
In-person event – 14th May 2024, 10.30am to 1pm.
Daytime Online event – 16th May 2024, 12pm noon to 1.30pm.
Evening Online event – 23rd May 2024, 7pm to 8pm.
After each talk there will be an opportunity for a Question-and-Answer session where you can ask Sally any specific questions you may have.
