Find out the types of event we run where you can meet other unpaid carers, including Hubs and our Involvement meetings. Through our community of carers, you’ll find support and friendship, and shape the future of care services in Hertfordshire.
Carer Support Hubs are local support groups for carers. They are a great way to get advice and support, make friends and find out what’s going on in your local area.
There are Carer Support Hubs in 17 different parts of Hertfordshire, so you’ll be able to find a Hub close to you.
The Hubs are run by volunteers and carers, and usually meet once a month. The meetings involve a programme of speakers, activities and time to talk with other carers. You can find out what is planned for upcoming meetings further down this page.
Find out more about how the Hubs can help you in this video.
You can also find details of our upcoming Hubs and book to attend a meeting on our events page.

Our Carers Development and Learning Service organises free workshops, courses and events, for unpaid family and friend carers. Some activities and sessions take place online and others in person at venues around Hertfordshire.
We offer a variety of courses and workshops – some that aim to provide information or skills to support you in your caring role and others that offer a break from caring. Some sessions enable you to try something new or pursue an interest such as cooking, crafts, photography and writing. Others are focused on health and wellbeing such as mindfulness, skiing or gentle exercise such as chair yoga and Tai Chi.
We regularly update our events page with details of courses and workshops, so please check it out. You can book a place on our courses, workshops or activities online on our Events Page via the event listing or call or email us.
